Could somebody please explain the differences in these 2 besides the locations. This is the first time going that my kids will actually be old enough to want to see the princesses so I am looking for the best one to take my girls to.

I'll brave this one! Just my $.02!

CRT - It is THE princess breakfast. It's in the castle and location does make a huge difference . Also, it's the popularity and word-of-mouth. I remember my first trip with my dd and just kept thinking "what if I can't get it?" I was so nervous just because I heard it was so good and so hard to get I guess. Food - we had a good day with the food. It was wonderful! Some have not had it so good lately but the Dining Plan has really put a lot more people actually doing TS meals, so I think the quality might be suffering at some places.

Norway - It was good. I still remember CRT as more exciting, more charming, more teary-eyed, but that's because it was our first trip. Food was good. Typical breakfast, but it was hot, plenty of it.

Princesses - Main difference here is Cinderella. If your dd's are crazy about Cinderella, you have 2 choices - CRT or 1900 Park Fare for dinner. She is usually not at Norway. Interaction, good and bad reports at both places. The others are basically the same (Snow, Belle, Aurora, Mary) and with Mulan and Jasmine additions at Norway, sometimes others.

CRT's prices just went up too, but what everyone is willing to pay varies, so that's up to you.

They will love whichever you choose and there's always next time to try another one!

CRT is a smaller. If you know anything about the food service industry better food normally is found with the smaller resturants. But to me Breakfast food is the same where ever you go. But there are others who would disaggree with that.

At Norway you have a chance to see a more exotic Princess. Mulan was at Norway when we went. CRT has the big names. When it comes to resturants you are not just eating, the location, atmosphere, and quality all have to be taken into account.

if price is not a real problem. Try to get into CRT. It's a tuff one to get into. And let that make your decision. Norway is a real good subtitute.

We have done both with our DD's. I really prefer CRT. The girls love the castle!DD 17 actually requested this last trip. My mom started calling 2 weeks before our trip and she got us seats. DOn't be discouraged. Just keep calling - people cancel or change their ressies all the time. That said - we enjoyed Norway, too. It was more family style at the table while CRT is very fromal wait staff. The girls love being called "princess"! Have a great trip!!

Yes! We went and were able to see Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, Mark Poppins and Snow White. The Fairy Godmother was in the lobby when we left and we could stand in a line to meet her. With the new changes I don't think Cinderella comes to the table anymore (after Feb 1). I'm not sure about all the changes as we were able to sneak in an ADR for Jan 29th - I know there is a new photo package included with the higher prices. The whole experience is so much more than the princesses (obviously a big draw though). The ambience of the castle, great food, and the table settings were great. My son got a kick out of being called "my prince" by our server - he was really into the period acting!

I started calling 6 weeks before I left and one cm actually laughed when i asked about CRT. I called and called and called. Although I only wanted to be at magic kingdom on particular days i was willing to go whenever but it didnt help. It is really luck of calling at the right time to get in. I had to call again and again to get Akershus (Norway) for breakfast. I could get lunch or dinner...which by the way is the only way to get ariel...but after inspecting the menu I know nobody in my party would be pleased enough. I did eventually get in and on the day I wanted. It was great, before the park even opened so by the time we were finnished the park was just opening. We really liked it but I know my little princess would have been absolutely blown away to eat in the castle....maybe so much so that she wouldnt have eaten a bite.

We also ate breakfast and dinner at 1900 park fare and loved both of those meals. As the pp said breakfast is breakfast but what a nice time we had eating it.

OK I called and got my reservations for CRT. They did not have 2 days that I wanted so we are going to have to juggle our trip around now to accomadate eating here.

My girls are only 3 but they are so into Cinderella right now it is insane. They are already talking about eating at the castle.

Our party has 11 in it so it is hard to get 1 table that has enough room. Since all the other kids are older we are all doing the CRT and then my DH and I are taking the girls to Norway.

Sounds like a wonderful trip to me. Your little girls are so lucky and they will remember this - mine does. Have a wonderful time!

We like CRT for the loction more than anything else but with the price increase this year, it's not worth it to us anymore. Of course, its great to do it once at least.

We love PSB just as much as CRT and you can even see Ariel if you go for lunch or dinner! It's cheaper but doesn't have the castle location benefit.

Enjoy either way!!

What time is your Reservation?

We did the Storybook lunch in Norway and Cinderella WAS there along with Belle, Snow white, Arielle, Jasmine and Ariel. The food was a little too much for my plain jane taste so we are going back but to the breakfast!! I thought it was great but I haven't done the CRT so I can't compare but I know Norway is much cheaper!!

12:15 Ok your going for lunch.

The reason I asked was If your that far back in the park for the first seating at breakfast you can get to the Tinkerbell Store and can wake up tinkerbell. But from the gates there is always some youg teens that run full sprint to do it. It's neat but honestly don't fret you will miss it it's not that big of deal either.
