We have to pay out of pocket for 2 TS on our trip. Based on everything I have seen, I think we are going to pay out of pocket for CRT. Since I already have it booked with just a credit card hold, how do I switch it? What if for some reason we dont' use all of our TS credits when we are there due to say, sickness, and then want to use CRt on DP. Can we pay with a credit card once we are there?

There's no need to switch anything at this point. You pay for the meal after you eat, whether by credit card, cash, or dining plan.

I believe they just take a credit card hold to discourage no-shows.

Edited: I think you are right, they do now require full payment for those who are not on a dining plan at the time of booking. However I would just leave your reservation as is. You will be charged the correct amount at the restaurant if you decide not to use the dining plan.

I think we may just use the 2 TS credits for each of our kids (it is more of a bargain for children on the DDP and not such a good deal for adults to use the DDP credits), pay OOP for DH and myself. Then when we go to a la carte restaurants for dinner where the kids' meals only cost about $8 each, we will pay OOP for the kids there. This could get complicated though, so to make things easier we may just use the TS credits for all of us. Even when I do all the math for all the places we plan to eat, the DDP will still save us $100s even with using DDP credits for all of us for the CRT dinner.

If it was breakfast, we would definitely just pay OOP.
