CRT Lunch ?? & Dilemma

So, on my birthday I have CRT lunch planned and Ohana dinner before MNSSHP. I don't really care about getting to the party on time (no kids in our group). So, my question is two parts:

1. What sort of appetizers are on the lunch appetizer plate? On allears it just states an appetizer plate comes with the lunch...

2. What do people think of CRT lunch vs. dinner? I've done breakfast, enjoyed it, but would like to try a different meal. Also, if we do dinner, then I don't know when else to go to Ohana, which is another newbie for us!!

How do you feel about the characters? There are no princesses at dinner except Cinderella, and she's just a photo op. There is a show by the Fairy Godmother and the mice during dinner, and the mice may pay quick visits to tables, but if you want the circulating princesses stick with lunch.

I don't remember the apps for lunch - weren't memorable, I guess. We went for our girls. CRT lunch was the kickoff to our first Dis vacation. I'm glad we did it, but the food wasn't worth it--the experience was.

If you have to choose between Ohana and CRT - pick Ohana - food is great!

RE the characters - I could go either way. We're doing a bunch of character meals (to DH's dismay ) but, I don't want to miss Ohana either. The entree options look decent for both lunch & dinner - but I love appetizers!! And, I've heard good things about the dinner apps but nothing about lunch ones!

we enjoyed the lunch there...we were there in September last year and the appetizers were cold stuff seems like thin sliced ham and some cheeses maybe cold chicken with pesto too? I am looking at my photo album and thats what it looks like I don't have it on my computer so I can't post it.
I'm not sure if we ate the appetizer (kids got chicken noodle soup they ate that)
but we all enjoyed out entrees 2 had the Major Domo 1 had the pasta for adults
and kids one had the minor domo and one had a hot dog wrapped in a pretzel
