CRT - Half group on DDP, half OOP

So my brother's family is joining my family for part of our next trip. They are going to be on DDP, we're not. I was just able to get a CRT ressie for all 11 of us and I put it on my CC. Will they be able to credit my card that day for my brother 10 DDP credits (5 people) or am I going to have to foot the bill because of how I made the ressie??

Kind of funny, we were just planning to do Cape May, Chef Mickey or the Wonderland Tea Party but none had availability... but there were TWO different time slots at CRT that could take all of us! I LOVE the online dining system. It likes opening a box of cracker jacks... sometimes you get a lousy surprise, sometimes you are blown away with luck!

When you are at CRT, let them know how many of you are using dining credits and they will refund the money to your credit card.

They will refund it when you get there... but that is ALOT of money sitting there on the credit card. I'd call and get them to switch it to your brothers name and resort number. Then they will all be under the dining plan and when you get there you will just pay for your meals oop. It will save you from paying all that money now.

That would be good except they are DVC and while they have their resort reservation, they aren't planning to add [pay for] their DDP until closer to the trip in January. I'm ok holding it for now, but I just don't want it to be a hassle when we get there &/or have them risk not having ADRs for all their credits if OOP was necessary.
