Can't believe it but I just got CRT for dinner on Dec 3. Any recommendations for the food here? Not concerned that it is not a character meal- frankly w/ the limited choices this was the only meal we would eat somthing. DD#2 has been beggng to go into the castle and I am sure tht this will make her trip magical! Only issue is that I hate wasting a park pass for 1/2 day- the first day of our trip we usually hang at the resort until we go eat and resort hop or go to DTD. We live in tampa but dh can't get off until 3pm -he'll just have to try to get out early.

Hello...we just returned from our trip. We had dinner there for the first time 2 nights ago. It was great! For the appetizers my DD8 had a plate with veggies and dip, grapes and cheese. My DD12 and DH had the ceasar salad. I had the shrimp cocktail. They were all great. Oh yeah..they bring out a basket of pretzel bread that was very good. We all had the prime rib for our entree and it was wonderful! For desert both DDs' had the crown sunday, I had the creme brulee and DH had the fantasy land sunday.
We were stuffed! I'm not sure if this happens all the time but Cinderella was in the lobby signing autographs and posing for pictures. I was expecting to see the fairy Godmother.

Overall this was one of the highlights of our trip. We were seated 10 minutes after checking in, we had a table by the window and the service was great.
We never felt rushed and had refills on our drinks :flower:

I would do this again in a heartbeat!

The good news is that the MK will be open until 11 pm that night. So unless you are all too exhausted to tour after dinner, it won't feel quite so much like you are "wasting" a day of your park pass. Hope your Dh can get off earlier.

Best wishes -
