Is CRT still really difficult to get for breakfast?

Yes but it is sooo worth it! Call the day your window opens right at 7am and you should be fine.

I had no problem back in 07 when it was 180 days and no problem for this Aug 09 at the 90 day mark. Just be sure to start calling at 7am and be flexible with dates & times. You will really enjoy it. Good Luck.

Will it be hard to get a table for one? I'm on the Deluxe Dining plan. Do they still need a credit card or just my room reservation?

I checked this morning online for CRT breakfast (today was my 90 day mark) and they had an 8:05 and when I went back later, they still had it and an 8:25 am. I did check at 6:15 am ET so it was before the phone lines opened. Love the online thing!

I have a sub. to TGM and he suggested that if you're staying in the park to use your EMH (your extra hour in the park) at 8am and book the CRT breakfast for the 10:30. I called on my 90 day on Jun.11 and had no problem getting ressies. I'm sure you'll be fine.... just call right at 7am EST! Thanks! April

I've never been to WDW, so I don't know how its been in the past - I can offer my experiances though

I called right at 7am on my 90 day mark....I got a 9:55am ressie for the day after I get there - YAY.

After further review, I figured I would want a later breakfast because I didn't want to waste those morning hours when the parks are emptier - so I called and scored a 10:35 reservation - WOO HOO

What I really wanted was an 8am ressie on one of two days. I was able to check online yesterday and scored an 8:05am ressie for the last day I am there (and I just cancelled my 10:35 ressie in turn). So in my experiance, its been trying, but I didn't give up! I actually ended up with exactly what I was looking for.

I would say, be flexable with your days and call right at 7am (or better yet, check online).

I logged online and checked the castle for June 29th at 8am and nothing-then I tried for 8:30 am and GOT IT!!!Paid online and was done in 5 minutes my family will flip! We have never eaten in the castle and the 4 yr old has never been to disney!Yahoo

Not sure how the new system works, haven't tried it yet, but last Fall I had to give my reservation number and then a credit card number to hold the reservation. Your credit card is charged if you are a no show and haven't cancelled in the prescriped amount of time. I was on the Deluxed Plan and it worked beautifully.

There are only four tables for two in the restaurant, but three of them have great views by the window. On the other hand, there aren't as many small families trying for these smaller tables, so those four aren't quite as popular as the tables for larger groups.

I would say your chances are good, particularly if you try the first morning that the window opens. (I wouldn't stress over getting in right at 07:00:00, but if you're up, it doesn't hurt to call right away.)
