Hi all!

In planning our trip in March on of the dates started nagging at me because it seemed signifigant. Then I realized it was our anniversary (I'm the wife) and thought I would plan a fun dinner on that date. I was thinking CRT for the atmosphere, mainly because DD4 always wants to go to the castle. We have never been and she doesn't realize it's a restaurant, she just wants to go inside! Another choice was Cali Grille, this time for the food! I've always wanted to try it but DH is not really a foodie. His favorite restaurants are Trails End and Garden Galley at SOG so I thought I might save CG for a trip where my mom joins us. Mom loves sushi. Also considered LTT because I think DH and kids would love the food and atmosphere, and I like the idea that it's not a buffet! Any other suggestions?

oooo tough one!!

The Cali Grille would be a wonderful restaurant for your anniversary meal with your kids. You would get a wonderful view of Wishes if you timed your ADR right and their kids menu is fab!!

But personally if i had to choose i would pick somewhere that would light up my childrens faces. If CRT will do that then i would suggest going there instead.

If it were my anniversary, it would make my day to put a big smile on my childrens faces.

We have never considered LTT before as the food is not our cup of tea. But we are having dinner at 1900 Park Fare this trip to see Cinderella, the Fairy Godmother and Prince Charming.

There is a huge choice of restaurants for you to choose from, try to narrow it down by what food you all like the most. If you want characters or not or if you would love a great view of Wishes.

Wherever you choose, i hope your evening is magical. :cloud9:

If your DH isn't a foodie, I would probably not bother with the expense of CG.

Have you thought about a dinner show like Hoop De Doo? They LOVE anniversary and honeymoons there, the food would probably appeal to your DH, and it would entertain all of you.

Its nice that its not all chicken strips and fries!!

I realise that 1900 Park Fare is a buffet but would you consider it? It is supposed to be very nice.

If you give some more information about your families likes i could help you more. :thumbsup2

Hmmmm. Thanks everyone I think we may do CRT. I've been wanting to try it for my DD and an anniversary is a good reason to splurge on it. I agree, Ducklite, about Cali Grille. I may save that one for someone that would get enjoy the experience of it as much as I would. Still waffling a little with LTT because DH loves all things rustic and colonial and would love that kind of food. But I think I will choose CRT (reservation window doesn't actually open up until Sept) since I feel for the price it should be some time of special occasion!
