CRT breakfast or lunch? Any opinions?

We did a very late dinner on Thanksgiving Day 2009. Never done lunch but did a late breakfast last year & it was great! Was not rushed & plenty of food. Great service both times.

We've done both and out of my group of 11, most 'prefer' breakfast, but everyone (except my teenage niece) liked lunch as well. Most everyone in our group really likes the stuffed french toast for breakfast~ so that puts it over the top for them! Either way the food was good.
Now, if you can possibly do a breakfast before the park opens, I say do that for sure!!! Getting in the park before it opens makes for great picture opportunities~ very few people in the park at all. We've done it several times and wish we could this year (going Christmas week when the parks open at 7 am anyway, so...). We always get one of the the first time slots available~ which always worked out that we were finished with the breakfast 5 to 10 minutes before park opening~ putting us at the Fantasyland rope drop~ one of the very first in Fantasyland~ that is wonderful! IF that is possible, I say do that way over lunch! You don't lose park time eating, get in the park when it is almost empty for a very neat experience and picture opprotunities, and the first group in Fantasyland. Can't beat that! But if not, either breakfast or lunch is good!

We've only done lunch b/c it works with our tour plan. We've really enjoyed the food and the experience.

I would be willing to try a pre-opening b-fast, but DH isn't much of b-fast person.

Thanks for the help! I was able to snag a breakfast adr at 8:10 and a lunch at 1:00, we wont do both so I think we are leaning towards the breakfast. The idea of getting in the park before most people is what got me :) I'm assuming that nothing really changes with the characters or any of the interaction. Is the higher cost just due to the selection of food? thanks again! I love this place!

Interaction and characters are the same for breakfast and lunch~ so I guess it's the food. A pic with Cinderella is included in the price of both.
8:10 is perfect! I would try to arrive at the podium around 8~ you will be the first "round" of diners~ so you should get out just in time for regular park opening. Have a magical time!

Thanks Tink2! I can't wait to see the Magic Kingdom without the crowds! And I can't wait to surprise my kids....we aren't going to tell them until we get there that morning. It's very hard for me to keep this a secret though!:hourglass

LOVE lunch at CRT. DH and I aren't really big on breakfast. We would much rather have lunch food. And besides, at lunch...two words...MAJOR DOMO'S!
