I read a post here that the menu changed from platters of all you care to eat, to an entree menu about a year ago. The menu page here still says:

Breakfast (Updated: 02/11)
Entree/Main Course

Once Upon A Time Breakfast - A traditional breakfast consisting of pre-plated Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Cheese Danish, Fresh Fruit, Breakfast Breads, Potato Casserole, Juice and Coffee. You may select the Healthy Alternative: Muesli served with fresh fruit and yogurt. Also, includes an assortment of juice, coffee and milk - $31.99 *

I booked the breakfast today and it is now $40.99 per adult, and still says all you care to enjoy with no menu listed. Can anyone enlighten me? Have they gone back to the old menu? And why does this say updated 2/11?

Thank you!:confused3

We were there in January. It is pre plated, all you care to eat.

First, they bring you a plate of Danishes for the table along with a bowl of fresh fruit.

They will bring juice and coffee too.

You can pick from the eggs, bacon, sausage, and hadhbrowns? I don't remember a potato casserole.

Or the healthier breakfast of
yogurt and fruit.

I don't recall any other selections but there could have been another?

The breakfast price was around $45 for an adult. We paid oop for 2 adults and 2 children and it was $150ish.

Gratuity and photo package was also included in the price.

We really enjoyed it :)

The last time I ate at CRT, there were actually *three* breakfast choices - this surprised me because I'd not heard it before, and don't remember ever seeing it online. The third one was another "traditional"-type breakfast, in addition to the two mentioned here. (This was just about a year ago, so things may well have changed since then.)

Neither here nor there, but I always order the breakfast with the stuffed French Toast, then get the granola-and-yogurt bowl for seconds.

there are 3 choices...
first they bring your drinks and danishes.... the cinnamon roll is yum!!

traditional: eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes

yogurt: yogurt, granola, fruits, and i think there were almonds in there because i picked around them.

i think the other is stuffed french toast... i forget what it comes with

---

you pick one, then you can pick another if you're still hungry (and i'm assuming another if you're still hungry after that :lmao:)

i got the traditional, and the yogurt. my fiance got the french toast and the traditional. the potatoes on the traditional were very good.

i have to tell them about my nut allergy next time before i get the yogurt dish again.

Yeah, this was what confused me - I asked for the "traditional", since the French Toast has traditionally been part of the CRT breakfast. (Sadly, they don't make it the way they used to, but that's another story . . . .) Of course, I received the plate with no French Toast. My server could tell I was confused, and although I think she was a bit miffed, she went and got me the other one.

(I didn't mind the few minutes wait, since without the French Toast, I wouldn't go to the restaurant in the first place. I wonder how often they get solo adult male diners there for breakfast. But I eat there about every three years or so. Used to be more frequent, back when the meal was half the price it is now.)
