I have ADR for CRT at 8:15 am. I'm wondering if it is worth the 2 TS credits. Maybe we should be there at rope drop, take a break than come back for dinner to teh 1900 Park Fare. From your experiences which would be better?

I have done both.

Eating in the castle is kind of neat. You also get photos taken with Cinderella. I'm not sure it is worth 2TS credits. I felt rushed both times I have eaten there.

At 1900 Park Fare you get to meet Cinderella and Prince Charming and the Step-Sisters and Step Mother.

If you decide to do 1900 Park Fare I would pick an early dinner and then head back to MK.

This past Nov we had an 8:15 am ADR at CRT. We were done with our meal by 8:55 am. We weren't rushed at all. I was thrilled we made perfect timing without even thinking about it. We were there in Fantasy Land for rope drop. It was really cool we were the first ones on Dumbo for the day. We did all of Fantasy Land in a matter of minutes. We had a 12:30 ADR for lunch at Crystal Palace then left for a resort break.

We really didn't time our meal to be done by 9am. It just happened that way. But it was really magical being in Fantasy Land that early. They say it takes about 15 to 20 min to walk down Main St and up to Fantasy Land. We were done by the time people started to enter.

If you have little ones, this was a perfect way to do Fantasy Land with no lines and without being rushed.

CRT is worth 2TS to us as we use the DxDDP and have the credits available.

The benefit of getting into MK before it officially opens is very cool! We did that this year (with 8:15 ADRs at Crystal Palace) and having pictures and being able to dance down Main Street with hardly anyone else is really cool! We did do the Castle for lunch once which was good but I don't think I would do it again. It is an experience though. 1900 Park Faire for dinner was hilarious! The stepsisters made the whole meal so fun and you get to see them interact around you the whole time. I also really liked the buffet too. It all depends on what you want! Akershus is a great way to see the princesses too for only one TS. I realized that I probably confused you even more!:upsidedow

I think I'm leaning towards keeping our 8:15 ADR at CRT, still not sure if it will be worht 2 ts. thanks for any help you offer to make up this confused mind

Definitely keep the early CRT ADR. It might not be something you'd want to do on every trip (I do, however), but....I do think you should do it at least one time!

We're doing lunch at CRT in June and will be paying OOP. We're on the DDP and didn't think it was worth 2TS for a lunch. Unless you are on the DxDDP and have the extra TS credits, I would lean toward paying for breakfast OOP just for the experience and use your TS credit for a dinner at 1900 Park Fare.

From a purely mathematical standpoint: Since you are doing breakfast, if you run the numbers you are better off paying out of pocket for this meal and saving your credits for two other meals.

Breakfast Buffet Price/Adult = $34.99.
Meal value with included 18% tip = $41.24
Value of two credits =$56
Value lost on CRT = $15

And paying out of pocket if you are unhappy with the service you can leave a smaller tip. With DDP waiter/waitress gets 18% even if they show up at your table drop the food and are never seen again.

For dinner you are still better off paying out of pocket as the meal price out of pocket would be $50.72 including 18% tip.

1900 PF breakfast is awful...I would go to CP instead and if you want to see the Princesses make a bee line to Toon Town or have breakfast at Norway

We have an 8:25AM appt on April 26th for my DDs 4t bday..I have never done this before..We r staying offsite..between parking and getting over to the MK..what time should get to the parking lot? And does the transportation run b4 the park opens? Sorry, just a newbie.:scratchin

I think I just realized what 'bump' means. When we want to move our thread to the top of the unread list we just say 'bump' and it moves it up, making it more active.

Right?

a bump will activate a dead thread, and if you have never done CRT I'd do it at least once. Went last trip and DD4 loved it. I did pay cash though to save ts credits for CG and FF.

We had breakfast at the castle. It was a moment my children will always treasure... Their smiles as we waited for our "visit" with Cinderella were the well worth the 2 meal points. It was nice to see so many princesses all in one place and save time tracking them down. The food was good...better than 1900...they have a french toast made out of cheese danish...that I dream about...however, hard to eat because of all the wonderful moments that had to be captured on film....like when the lights dim and there is a twinkle light and the children make a wish on a star...

I woke up 180 days to the day to make the reservation. I know a lot of people dont even get one. You are ahead of the game there..We wont be eating there this time...it is one of those once in a lifetime moments to be remembered the way it was. Magic.
