CRT Bfast or Dinner (Trans Issue Involved)

This is our first Disney trip and one that I want to make unforgettable.

We are driving in and on our first night will be staying around FW cabins, eating at Trails End, and doing the Chip n' Dale's singalong. That's on Friday.

Our first "official" day is on Saturday and we're going to MK. I was able to reserve CRT for bfast at 810 and dinner at 520. Which should we keep?

Here are my thoughts and dilemmas... The transportation from the resort to MK will only start operating at 8am making it impossible to make our ressie. However we could DRIVE to MK that day in order to make the bfast ressie. Would it be like OMG this is so magical for my kids to be in MK before the park opens and eat in the castle, etc to warrant driving there?

OR

Should we just take park transportation and do the dinner reservation at Cinderella's castle instead?

Which do you think would be better all around and/or which do you have experience with as I need to cancel one of these reservations today. Thanks so much!

There should be early character breakfast transportation from all resorts.

We has an 8:05 last year. We were at WL, so we just took the MK bus early. I'm pretty sure we stopped at FW before going to MK.

I'd keep the breakfast and just ask for details about the transportation at check-in.

Thanks for that info! I'm going to keep the breakfast and cancel the dinner... I think my kids will be super excited!
