CRT and MVMCP same day?

On our first visit to MK we will be attending the MVMCP that same night... should I hold off doing CRT until later in the week or go for it all at once? What about doing LTT- still too much for one day?
My kids are real troopers (int'l flights, etc.) but if this would overwelm most anyone I need to know. TIA.

IF you are doing CRT the same day as MVMCP try for dinner around 6:00. The park closes from 6pm -7pm to have the day guests exit and the Christmas Party guests come in. (Christmas Party guests have been able to come in as early as 4:00 pm in the past, not sure if this tradition will continue this year). I would not recommend CRT and LTT for the same day. Just seems like too much food. We ate at LTT for the Christmas party last year and we loved it but we were also able to be seated at 5:45 pm so it worked out great.

Will you be going to the MK another day during your stay?? If so, I would do the following:

CRT for breakfast, spend the day at the park.

LTT for the Christmas Party at 5:45 pm.

I think CRT and MVMCP would be an amazing experience. What a Christmas gift! I say, more power to you.

We are doing CRT, LTT and MVMCP on the same day. This will be our first day at Disney and we wanted to make it as magical as possible. We have ADRs at CRT for 8:05am and will probably go back to the resort for a nap around 1. That evening we have ADRs at LTT for 5:30 before MVMCP. We were also worried about having too much food that day, but I think we will just let the kids have some fruit or a small snack in the afternoon, instead of trying to eat lunch. Have fun deciding!!!

Christmas 2005 we suprised our DD then 3 & 8 with a Christmas trip to Disney. We went to the MVMCP and had dinner at 4:00 at CRT. ( not a character dinner ). It was so much fun. The staff was so friendly and excited about the party festivities. We had a wonderful dinner and great desserts. We just strolled around MK. It was a wonderful evening.

OTOH, we did CRT for breakfast, Crystal Palace for dinner and then MVMCP in December 2004. It worked fine, but it was a long day with LOTS of food.

I wouldn't do CRT and MVMCP on the same night unless you had an early ADR for CRT (4 - 5 pm.) That meal can take quite awhile and limit your amount of time to enjoy the party. We personally prefer to do a counter service meal on a MVMCP night and do Cindy's on another night
