CRT 8:00 AM

I’ve read older posts but am looking for recent experiences.

We have a reservation for CRT at 8:00AM. This is on a day early entry is 8:30 and regular park entry is 9:00.

We made the reservation hoping for some good castle/park photos without as many people.

But now I’m reading they open main street and up to the lands earlier than they did years back.

Has anyone had an early reservation? We’re you let in with everyone else it did they let you in a little early?

This was probably 8 years ago, but we got in early and definitely got some good pictures before the crowds were let in. From what I have read, you just don't know when they will let people in early, so I would just go at 8:00 hoping for the best. It definitely used to happen that way! The only issue we had with an early reservation like that is that we were staying at WL and the boat wasn't running yet, so we had to make alternate plans to get over there. Just make sure you know your transportation options.

There will be people, but it will still be better and the morning light and feeling is very nice. I loved the one time we did this for pictures! We also did some really beautiful photos in front of the mosaic murals in the tunnel that normally are swamped.

We did CRT at 8:00 on 6/30. Yes, we went in with the ETPE folks. There was a fair amount of people there, but nowhere near as much as after park opening. Everyone was rushing to either Tomorrowland or Fantasyland.

Photo Pass photographers were on Main St. and we had some lovely family portraits taken near the castle with nobody behind us. Also, people who had ADRs for CRT were directed toward Adventureland. There CMs scanned us in and directed us across the bridge that leads to the back of the castle. A perfect opportunity for more lovely photos.
