Crowne Plaza?

Looking for a hotel in I Drive for a few days before our Disney experience - has anyone ever stayed at the Crowne Plaza resort or heard any stories about it? Any help would be appreciated.

I must admit, this is one resort I don't know at all, although I have always been impressed by Crowne Plaza resorts elsewhere. Be aware, this is right down on the southern section of International Drive, effectively in Kissimmee, and so is a long way from the other I-Drive attractions (but much more convenient for WDW). I would also like to hear any opinions on the Crowne Plaza. I have a reservation for September for $109/night which seems like a great rate for a suite.
I'm hoping that being at the southern end of I-drive will make for easier commuting and a quieter experience.
I'm just a little concerned that there's so little information about it.

I actually went ahead and emailed the hotel - they tell me that they are fairly close to all attractions but only provide transport to Universal and Sea World and for that reason they would recommend a car. As my husband and I are planning on a car free holiday we may decide to look at another hotel.

I was really inpressed with the speed that they replied though and how they seemed keen to please.
