Crowne Plaza Universal????

Has anyone stayed at the Crowne Plaza Universal?? All the reveiws I read are pretty good...but I know all of you always list the good, the bad and the ugly!!! Any reveiws for me?????

We have stayed there several times and I am considering it again for next week at $56 on Hotwire. It is a good idea to join their Priority Club. The hotel's club lounge has good offerings.

I joined the Priority Club. I don't think I can take advantage of the perks though as I won it on one of the bidding sites. My son is obsessed with arcades. Have you been to the arcade??? Also, are all the rooms non smoking. Have been in WAY to many stinky roooms. Want to make sure I get there early to snag a non if necessary. Thanks!!!

We have always got rooms there on Hotwire and I ask them to add my account number at check in. We have either been upgraded to a club level room or got upgraded to one of their Jr. Suites. I think they still have smoking rooms. The gym is nothing to write home about and the game room doesn't ring a bell but I'm sure my kids were in it if they have one. My son went to the pool once returning to say he felt out of place.
