Crowne Plaza Hotel Orlando universal

I was thinking of staying here for the first two days while we go to Universal and Discovery Cove. Do any of you have any experience with this hotel?

I've stayed there for work related stuff and it's a fine place for that (actually quite nice and right in line for a CP hotel).

Don't think it would be on the top of my list for a family trip though.

I actually had it booked for 2 days this Nov, but the kid convinced me to go to the Nick hotel instead. It didn't take much convincing though, I'm all for kid type fun over fancy dancy.

Got kids? Go elsewhere, 2 adults, it's a nice place

We stayed there for a week last year, very nice hotel and extremely comfortable beds.
