Just wondering how the Thursday night crowd was last night? Were FP's needed?

Not really, less crowded than expected. I hit a total of 9 houses (6, then repeated 3) and Bill & Ted between 6:30 and 11:00.

Coupled with the fact that tonight is now an extra Frequent Fear night, I wonder if the economy is starting to have an effect.

That's a good point but I think they added tonight as another FF night because they scheduled the Passholder party and forgot most of the passholders have FF passes which were not valid tonight...DOH!

Ya know, I thought that was kinda odd too, that they had FF last weekend but were having the AP event for two weekends. I'm thinking they decided to wait and see perhaps how pass sales were and it was clear, letting in the FF people would just mean more concession sales for them! Or they totally messed up and decided to open up Friday, since it's probably not expected to be as heavily attended (based on RSVP's maybe) as Sat.

I noticed they haven't added tomorrow night. I also noticed, the hours for the event tonight are until 2, instead of midnight last week. Not that I'll make it that late, being old and all!

Yeah...I don't think they will add a Saturday night to the FF pass...that's their big money night.

I was shocked at the low crowd levels last night. Valet was deserted when we arrived, and there were very few people around CityWalk. The Stay and Scream area was only lightly populated (although a lot of people were in Finnegans), and we were basically doing haunted house marathoning for the first couple of hours with no need for our EPs. We used 'em a few times later, but if we weren't picky about which houses we chose we could have pretty much seen houses all night with no more than 15-20 min. waits. The highest time I was was Bloody Mary at 60, but that's always true (probably because of its proximity to Bill & Ted).

Just got another e-mail; buy a ticket for Sunday online and get a free Express Pass. The tea leaves definitely seem to indicate they aren't getting the numbers they expected so far.
