Crowds yesterday at MK

Just wanted to write for anyone coming this week. The crowds at MK yesterday were very managable. It did rain off and on, so that probably lightened things a little. None of the rides (including the mountains) had waits over 10 minutes. At one point, though, Peter Pan's Flight was a 40 minute wait, but I think that was just a fluke because we went back about an hour later and waited about 10 minutes.

Epcot was empty... really had a great time. Walked on to everything. My kids rode Soarin 3 times with no more then a 5 minute wait. Dh walked right onto Test Track.

This is still during a regular "slow' period. Things will pick up dramatically after the 18th of february for presidents week, one of the busier times at WDW. We will be going Feb. 11-13. Just on a lark, when I made the reservation, I asked about the following week, and the CM laughed, and said "are you kidding?, that's presidents week, and there was very little available room wise.

I thought Test Track was closed until mid February ????

Test track should be closed. It was completely apart last week, literally....

Last weeks' crowd level was awesome too. Not too many people and very few waiting.

I LOVE going in the off-season.

That's great news. We're heading down tomorrow morning. :cool1:

I was there last week and Test Track was closed. A CM got talking to my wife while I rode Mission Space and he said that it is supposed to reopen on 2/15 but he heard that it might not be until 3/1. I guess repairs are more extensive than first thought.

Many schools in the North have a winter break that week. I know they do up in Washington state and I heard that they did up in the NE.

We live in a suburb of Omaha, NE and have no school from 2-15 to 2-20. Last I heard it was difficult to get a flight there from Omaha (or two) the weekend of the 11th & 12th.

We booked in Sept and got the last 3 tickets for the 2-12 6am flight that connects at DFW.
