Crowds week of Memorial Day

We will be at MGM and Universal the week of Memorial Day, but we are flexible on which days we visit the parks. I know that Memorial Day is a high attendance day, but have any of you had experience being there during that following week? What is it like crowd-wise? Would we be better off putting off our visits to the parks as late in the week as possible and doing Discovery Cove toward the beginning of the week or will it matter?

I'm interested in hearing about crowds too. We will be in the World from the 25th - 30th. We usually travel during the summer months, so I think that I am safe to assume that the crowds will be no worse than then. We are planning to go to all 4 major parks.

The weeks before and after Memorial Day are pretty heavy, with the Friday, Saturday, Sunday before Memorial Day being really crowded. Memorial Day Monday too. We've done those weeks several times - always the same - and hot, humid and rainy - dress for the weather and bring the rain gear.
