Crowds Week Of Aug.18-22

Hi I am thinking of going to DL the week of Aug 18-22nd I know that it is summer time, but wondering if anybody has been there at that time and what the crowd level is? I went last year the last week of June and thought that it was very manageable. Thanks

We'll be there this year at the same time, Aug 18-23. We've gone during the last week in Aug in the past and it was summer busy. We've gone during spring break before and during the last week in July and I thought the crowds are similar. Nonetheless, we enjoy late Aug and we don't let the crowds bother us. We just go in early, grab as many fastpasses as we can, ride some rides and head back to the hotel for a swim when it gets too hot and the crowds get too big. Some nights, we head back for a few hours in the evening, some nights we close the park down.

We always go during this week and it has always been warm and busy. But we love it.
