We are thinking of taking our twins to WDW the week before Memorial Day! Arrive early Thursday and depart late Memorial Day Monday - How will the crowds be? They have been before so we will not try to do "everything". What about gay week? When does it start? Doesn't bother me but not ready to answer questions from the kids! Thanks! By the way just got back from a Disney Cruise - it was great!!! Give it a try if you've been thinking about it!!

Just bumping this back to page one for you.

We will be going the weekend before Memorial day, may 21 - 25 and are expecting heavier crowds, but manageable. I hope this helps.

We were there last year week before memorial day....crowds were very manageable until Friday afternoon when crowds thickened noticeably. We did AK on Friday morning with EE and there was no waiting for anything but primeval whirl! Everything else was walkon..... MK was very crowded that Friday night...

Last year we went the week OF Memorial Day, and it really wasn't bad. DS used single rider's line at TT 3X and never waited more than 15 minutes. Worst part of the week was at Eride night -half hour wait for SM! This year we're going the week before Memorial Day and if it's as "bad" as last year when we went, we'll be happy. See ya there!

My DH, DD17, DS7, and I wil be there May 21 til May 26.:Pinkbounc We're leaving on the day school lets out here, but we're hoping most East coast schools will still be in session. I've been told the crowds will not be "heavy" while we are there, but will be "growing" toward Memorial Day weekend. I'm pretty sure it will be managable.

BTW, I'm pretty sure Gay Day(s) is in early June.

Disney is also hosting a vacation club event that week, so there will probably be more people than usual.

Stacy is right - DVC Member homecoming will be May 25-27. DH and I will be there starting the 23rd. I'm expecting heavier crowds then when we have gone in early October, but not the heavy, heavy crowds of mid-summer.
