At the beach club before leaving tomorrow morning
.
I just wanted to say that I've been here since last Wednesday and have been utterly shocked at the low crowd levels based on the reports I've read on here. I spent at least 3 hours at food and wine everyday including Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday nights and lines were easy to manage and plenty of food. (I was there Saturday night too but it was for the wine and dine after party so doesn't really count). It was hot but people were friendly and well behaved- saw some questionable shirts but no one was acting drunk.
My only complain was I came for race weekend and the half marathon event was managed very poorly IMO. That and my magic bands hardly ever worked despite five trips to the front desk.
I was expecting a totally different experience based I what I'd read on here - I skipped food and wine last year because my kids were 9 months old and I'm glad the festival is as much fun as ever.
