Just wondering what the crowds are like during this time. Since we are arriving on a Sat and going to the MMVMCP during this week, are the crowds pretty low? We were there in April, the week before Easter and it started getting packed closer to Good Friday, so this is what we have to compare it to. So do we have to still worry about the crowds or is it going to be smooth sailing?

Can't wait to hear from you all.

We thought it was really nice last year the first week in December. We usually had gone in August and for us it was like another world. I'm sorry but you WILL have to share with at least US. We will be there that week too!!! :teeth:

So it will be just us and no one else. IS it really that low?

Crowds. What crowds? It is my favorite time of year to go. You will have hardly any wait time on rides. Enjoy!

We've traveled that time of year for several years, and it is more crowded than it was 10 years ago, but nowhere near the crowd levels you have experienced over Easter/Spring Break or in August. MVMCP can get a little crowded, but there are plenty of quiet places too - don't thing you have to get your picture taken at the first booth you see. We usually had ours done over by Pirates and didn't have to wait.

We rarely have PSs for meals, except if we want Cindy's breakfast, and I don't recall ever waiting longer than 20 minutes that time of year. However - I don't recommend going to an MK resort restaurant with no PS on a Christmas Party night - then the waits are long as the folks wait for the park to reopen.

As for ride waits, 20-30 minutes was about average with a few exceptions, but we got FastPasses for those, did a couple other things and then went back. World Showcase in EPCOT gets a little busy in the evenings because it is open the lastest of the parks, but again it is not so bad that you don't want to be there!

well...it might be a bit more busy considering that Pop Warner is the Dec 5 through 11th. (i believe those are the dates)

you might not feel the influx in the crowds at the parks...but the value resorts (where they most often stay) WILL see the crowds.

oh - and you'll have to share the park with us too...we'll be there the 3rd through 11th.

Hey Stinkerbelle, do you need anyone to dog sit that adorable guy in your siggy? He is delicious!!::yes::

We'll be there too during that time!! We've been three times now, usually the week AFTER Thanksgiving. This year, it'll be a week later. But usually, the crowds are very low, and great weather!

See ya there!

Does anyone know how the crowds compare with September? We always go around mid-September but I'd like to go around the first of December sometime. Is it still warm enough to swim?:earsboy:

From what a cm told me when I ordered the MMVMCP tickets is that the pools are heated. I am still trying to figure out a way to work in a water park during this trip. Haven't been to one at Disney. I just think it will be pretty cool to go to a water park in December. ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

We like to go during the first couple weeks in December because the crowds aren't bad and you are surrounded by Christmas beauty -- DISNEY STYLE!! It's so pretty everywhere you go.

As far as the pools, we have not yet been able to swim in December. The last time we were there, during the second week of December, the HIGH was about 55 degrees all week. We NEVER put on shorts. But, if you ask me, it's worth it. Lower crowds and Holiday decorations at DISNEY??. . . you just can't beat it!!

We swam both our December trips. We went in 1999 and 2001. Luck of the draw I guess!

We will also be there with you 12/4 through 12/9, 2004.

Stinkerbelle: Do you know if Pop Warner uses Pop Century as well as the other value resorts. We are currently booked at POP for our dates, but if it will extra crowded we may change.

(Sorry about the double post. I tried to delete it but I couldn't.)

Most likely.

I guess they fill up the All Starts first, then POP, then a moderate (I've heard POR mainly.)

I would ask other people...but it's to my understanding that they mostly take over all the value resorts. (Maybe start a new thread with your question in the title.)
