Crowds the week after Easter

Sorry if this has been discussed. I tried to do a search, but it's not working.

Anyway, we're thinking of going to WDW in April of 2007. Easter is April 8th, 2007. My kids have the week of April 15th off. So, will the huge Easter crowds be gone by then? How crowded will it be?

It really depends on Spring Breaks, I would say. The spring break crowds make it pretty crowded, and I'm not sure what schools still would be having them then. I think if you are not in the week before or after, you will have cut down on the worst of it, though.

The week of Easter from Sunday on was so busy in 2003. We went the Sunday after Easter week in 2002 and it was great. I will never ever go again on Easter week, It was beyond busy.

Although we've not been there the week OF Easter I hear and have read on the boards that it is STILL VERY BUSY this week until the weekend, so presume you will be dealing with Easter crowds this year until 4/22-4/23. That week after should be a good week to go (we'll be heading up later that week).

The two weeks surrounding Easter Sunday are among THE MOST crowded times at Disney.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I guess we'll have to decide if we want to go the week after Easter or sometime during the summer since we're trying to avoid taking the kids out of school.
