Crowds Oct 28- Nov 2?

Hi--
I was there last year at this time. It was wonderful... little wait times (I'm talking walk on to most; 10-15 minutes tops), UNTIL the Friday that was before Jersey Week. OMG. We were swamped at the MK.

Make sure you go early in the mornings. It is empty, peaceful and beautiful.

Wish I was going again then this year; however, Dh has a conference there in May and we will be braving the crowds then.

Last years trip was actually the best trip to Disney we have ever had...and we've been a whole bunch.

Have fun,
Jodi

I'll second what you said. Great crowds all week, except for Friday! It was amazing how much more crowded things got on Fri. I know people say Jersey Week isn't that bad, but im my opinion it was way crowded compared to just the day before ... and I don't think it was just due to F&W fest

Did you go to MNSSHP on any of the nights prior to Halloween? How were the crowds then?

I have been planning our next trip for over a year, so I saved all the info that I could from last year, including the park crowd projections, weather, sunrise/sunset, park showtimes and entertainment/streetmosphere performance times, and all sorts of stuff. If you are interested, just PM me with your email address and I will be glad to forward the information to you. Maggie

We'll be there the same dates!! :)
If I remember correctly, Jersey week is the week after? Someone will correct me if it's not, but I'm pretty sure that's when it is. I think we'll be just missing it. If anything, stay away from the MK on the 2nd.
Glad to hear about last year at that time!!

Enjoy:goodvibes

We were there 2 years ago during that time period and are coming down again this year at that time, ie, October 27-November 3rd. The last time there were no crowds or long waits in the Magic Kingdom, MGM or Animal Kingdom. We only went to Epcot for dinner but it did seem more crowded probably because of the Wine Festival. The weather is great and we get to spend Halloween Night in the Park. Great time of the year and as an added bonus it is low points for DVC.

If you haven't been during this time before, make sure you make a note of the decorations. Halloween night, there are pumpkins, goblins, etc. The NEXT MORNING, at AK, we saw Christmas trees, heard the Christmas carols, saw the characters in winter outfits! It was like we were in a time warp or something! All of the parks begin decorating full-force once the parks close October 31st.

Yeah, I am kinda looking forward to seeing that change. I missed being at WDW during the holidays last year. So this way, we get a bit of what we had last year and a bit of the holidays. I should be good for at least 3 months. lol Maggie
