Crowds May 27 vs 28 (after Memorial Day)

This is my experience based on two during-and-after Memorial Day trips as well as two Columbus Day time trips. (my son and I have awkwardly timed birthdays, but then DH's is right at the beginning of Spring Break "season" so he's no better)

We have found, in those 4 trips, that the parks get busier and busier as the weekend approaches, and Sunday can be absolutely packed. On Monday it can start off really really bad, but then people start to leave to get back home for work on Tuesday. And Tuesday can get downright empty.

The last holidaytime trip we took, the Monday was horrid, BUT it was also when Columbus Day weekend coincided with Gay Days, so the parks were filled. I had no plans to go to the park on the holiday Monday, but had ot exchange something, and it took nearly an hour just get through bag check and into the park. I wasn't entering at park opening, though, but an hour or so later. Then getting through Disneyland to the POTC giftshop was a nightmare for my shrimpy self.

During that trip we were actually leaving on Monday, too, so didn't see the parks emptying, but the part of things getting busier and busier as the weekend got closer was the same.

And in the other 3 trips, Tues and Wed after were terrific.
