crowds labor day and day following?

hi,

wife and I were looking at driving over from vegas for day before labor day and labor day at disneyland.

would labor day and day after be better for lowre crowds?
was thinking labor day would be busy but open late and firerworks

day after would hopefully be a lot less busy but would there be fireworks on this day also?

I'm interested in the crowd as we will be taking our first trip to Disneyland this Labor Day.

Just wanted to let you know that is the weekend of the Disneyland Half Marathon - I don't know how many runners will be in the race But that's the reason we will be there to get our Coast-to Coast medal.

We tried to book a ressie at the vgc but everything was full so we're waitlisted. MS told us they are busy that weekend because of the half marathon and labor day weekend crowds.

I'm thinking it will be crowded with the Holiday and Half Marathon. Last year there were about 18,000 people that participated in the 5k, 1/2 Marathon and Kid's races.
