Crowds in Sept?

We booked our vacation from 09/17/08 to 09/23/08 with a stay at the Beach Club, just wondering what people think crowds will be like and the possibility of free dining.

I like to check touring plans website for their crowd calendar. They claim it is very accurate. The good news for you is that the crowds will be about as light as possible. Their scale is 1-10, and the lowest I have seen for any day of the year is a 3. For your trip, your first day is a 3, and the rest are 4's and 5's. I will be there Sept. 19-26, so we will both be enjoying the light crowds.

About free dining, I haven't found any "official" word, but if it is like the last few years, we should hear about it around the end of this month and be able to upgrade to it in early April. I am sure counting on it, but there are no guarentees.

park crowds are lighter and waits for rides and attractions are short to non-existant. restraunts, however, are another story - due to free dining. if you go, make your ADR's early if you want to eat anywhere specific

I have been 2 years in a row in the later part of September. The crowds were very low. Like another poster said- the restaurants will be full if they offer free dining again this year. I would make your ADR's asap!!

i agree with lustergirl, we have been goin in sept and we choose to go in sept due to the non-existant crowds!
