crowds in March and a birthday.....

I know that it is pretty early but I love to over plan and have trips ready early. I guess that we will have to go no matter what at this time for his birthday but I can't remember if it is crowded or not and if the weather is bad? We are going the week of March 11. Also, is there still the plaza birthday with Pat E Cake guy? Its been a few years since we celebrated a birthday at disneyland. Also, any suggestions on where to buy matching shirts for the family since we are inviting our who family so I thought it would be fun to be all wearing the same family shirts for his birthday. To answer all of your questions:

Weather - plan on a jacket for evening, but you shouldn't have too much weather issues. We don't really have bad weather in the spring at all! We can get rain during March, but not much and your experience won't really be hampered - only the DL devotees and out of town tourists go to the park if it rains!

Birthday party - is still there! I think you have to make advanced reservations, call 714-781-DINE.

Matching shirts - have you tried the new "Design your own shirt" that they have at www.disneyshopping.com ? You can pick characters, choose their location and size of design on the shirt, and put your own lettering and/phrases on the shirt, as well - front and back. Easy and totally custom!
