We are considering making an Orlando trip the last week of February through an RCI exchange. Based on your experience, what kind of crowds should we expect? Is that now considered peak season at WDW? If we do WDW, it would be for just a day or two. We are mainly going for sunshine and maybe a day trip to the beach. What beaches would you recommend? Thanks!

We always used to visit Disney around the first part of Feb. to avoid the crowds but last Feb we went on the 26th until Mar.6 and found that it wasn't too bad at all. The lineups were only bad on a couple of rides but you can also use your fast pass and that helps. The traffic was ok too. It did start getting worse toward the end of our stay. I think March break started somewhere. As for beaches we're partial to the west coast but it takes longer to get there than the east coast. We're from a coastal area so beaches don't hold that much appeal to us. Someone else can advise you on that.

Presidents week is the week before and that is when we (and much of the Northeast) travel south to Florida. That week is crazy but the week after should be better.
