Hi Everyone,
We are going to WDW Jan 13th - Jan 21st and have never been at this time of year before (always been May/June). Can anyone tell me what the crowds are like in the parks and also what the weather is like? TIA :goodvibes

We go in January for the marathon almost every year ,and the weather has been warm some years and other years cold (but mainly in the morning and evenings)-Just plan on wearing layers. You normaly do not have much of a line for rides though! You will have a great time!

This is good to hear... I have a few days of school off at the end of January, and my mom says we might be able to go for my birthday! :goodvibes We've always gone in October, during my brother's birthday, so I'm really excited! :goodvibes :goodvibes

January.....is the best....Cold but no lines...I've done the January trip these past three years and had a great time. I'm considering January 2007 just don't know if my wants to pull my daughter out of school.

What about the week that starts with New Years 2007 (first week of the year)?

The UG is showing a reduction in crowd levels from 10s to 6s and 7s starting on the 1st, but has anyone had any experience with that week?

We've been to WDW in January and February 4 times and, other than the occasional cold snap (night time down in 30's or 40's) it's our favorite time to go. We're trying early December this year, but I have a feeling we'll go back to Jan/Feb if the crowds are too much bigger.

Crowds in January have always been very light for us. Still need FP for Soarin', but many other popular rides are only a 20 minute wait in line at the most. RnR was ridden over and over an over with a 5-10 minute wait in between during the January after it opened. :) Of course, maybe we just got lucky that week?

We have gone in January the past 8 years. and are planning again for this coming January. I love this time of year.. very low crowds... very nice weather for the most part. Very little rain when we've been there. Park hours are shorter, but since the crowd levels are so low, you get so much done.

Most of the fast passes are closed most days. The exceptions are weekends.. and watch out for Martin Luther King weekend.. kids are off school and its a busy weekend!!

We are planning on Jan 26-Feb 3rd or 4th. I just need those darn AP rates to come out!! :)

We are also going back again in Jan. this year. Last year we went Jan. 2-6th. Great weather during the day, chilly at night. Crowds were very minimal. Going back Jan. 1-7th this year. Can't wait!!!
