Crowds in January

Hi

We are thinking of returning in the middle of January for 3 or 4 nights. This time we would have to stay in a hotel I think it would be too chilly to camp. I was wondering if the crowds were low?

The crowds should be very low during the week - if they're anything like they were on my day visit last January!! Weekends are always busy.

Crowds can't get any lower, especially if you go during the week.

When you sayit's always busy on the weekends how busy do you mean in January? Keep in mind the only weekend I've ever been there was Easter.

I went late january in 04 and the place was dead. We wlaked on to every ride no problems. In fact it took us longer to walk to the boarding bits than the waiting times.

There are a couple of trip reports from last January that might give you an idea of how more crowded weekends are. I doubt that they would be as busy as Easter, but there would seem to be a considerable difference between weekday and weekends, even in the slow months - though as mentioned before, those weekdays are very quiet!!!
