Crowds during November

If you check easywdw.com it has a list of the crowd levels for the weeks, when the best weeks to go etc.

I have looked at the EasyWDW site, but I was wondering if some Disers could share their November crowd experiences?

I went Veterans Day weekend last year, and it truly wasn't that bad. I mean I'm going again this year, so obviously I wasn't scared away! The saturday night at the MK was, and forever shall be known, as Death Night. I couldn't move, it was so crowded. I couldn't believe it, after the 3 days beforehand were so nice and quiet. So while it's generally a nice time to go, there will be no doubt some unexpected crowds at times.

We went last year and planned to stay Fri-Monday leading into Thanksgiving week. Friday and Saturday were fantastic. Low crowds everwhere and little wait time on the rides. Then came Sunday.....WOW. We went to MK on Sunday morning and it was crushingly busy. We ended up leaving the park at 10am and checked out of the hotel and went home. Talking to a few CM, Thanksgiving week is really rough and should be avoided if possible. The rest of November is really not too bad at all.

We are going down Nov 1-12 this year, so if you remind me or PM me, I can let you know how it was! I assume you are thinking of that time next year! We are doing the Halloween and Christmas parties, so I expect them to be crowded, and Epcot on weekends for the F&W Festival, but overall we don't expect it to be crowded.

We were in Disney for the past two years on Veterans Day. In 2010 there was a golf tournament and it was busy but not unbearable. Althought SSR was PACKED, which is where we were staying. In fact, we had a two-bedroom lockoff and they actually did not have one available upon our arrival. Yeah, I wasn't too happy about that. We were put in a dedicated two bedroom which wasn't ideal.

Anyway, last year was pretty quiet-no tournament. We were in OKW. We're heading back in a couple of weeks and once again there's a tournament. We're staying in OKW so we'll see how that goes.

We're going from Nov 12-19 this year. We're going to our first MVMCP on the 16th. I'm hoping for manageable crowds!

We have 3 November trips under our belt, including the 2010 and 2011. We were there the second week and the crowds were completely manageable. The usual extremely busy rides (Soarin', TSM, Peter Pan) had long waits, but we just FP those. We will be back in November 2013.

THis year the first full week included F&W, federal holiday and full/half marathons. I will be there Nov 8-12 and I expect fairly dense crowds, but certainly not holiday level.

NJ schools are off from Nov. 6 - 12 for a combination of election day, teacher conferences and Veteran's Day. Expect crowds!

We will be there the 12th through 16th also. Hoping it won't be too bad.

I suspect this will be a nice window between the prior week and Thanksgiving week. The 12th will be busy, but I would expect lighter crowds through the 16th, and ramping up again on Saturday the 17th and more so on Sunday the 18th.

We went last year in November for our Honeymoon from the 12th-19th. It was busy on that weekend- but manageable. MK was super busy on the 12th (Saturday), but became deserted come EMH. We had no issues with huge crowds and even last day for Food and Wine was not terrible.

We are going again this year (IN 9 DAYS! WHOO! :goodvibes) For our one year anniversary! We will be there November 2-6. We are planning on attending the last MNSSHP (our first!) on the 2nd and hoping for crowds like last year!

I LOVE the weather- not too hot and not too cold- although I do remember the nights being a little chilly!

We'll be there Nov 4th-9th! We usually go in October so I am curious how it will compare crowd & weather wise. I know it's Jersey week plus a bunch of other stuff is happening, but we are leaving before the weekend so hoping to miss some of it. Fingers crossed for sun, short lines & happy people!

It depends on the year but this year the first week in Nov looks like it will be REALLY crowded. The schools that start back after Labor Day have a few days off for the quarter break, Jersey Week, many schools have election day off, etc etc. It's always a crowded week but this year seems much more. The week after which also has a Fed Holiday I think will be lighter than normal because of the first week busyness. We like Nov because the weather is usually decent but crowds are an issue luckily we go enough that we can live without doing everything.
