For anyone here who's gone to WDW over Spring Break in March, how crowded was it? We wanted to minimize the amount of time we took the kids out of school, but I always figured that Spring Break would be too crowded Yet tonight I was looking at crowd levels on another website, and it listed all of March as "moderate" By comparison, in early October, when we took the kids out of school for vacation previously, they listed that time as higher crowds Any suggestions?

Any comparison to what March WAS will not be equivalent to what this March will be. No doubt it will be more busy in comparison to now, but the primary thing you’ll need to keep an eye on is park capacity and your reservations. I would say that you can still comfortably expect long waits for major attractions, but not like years past.

Crowd level calendars are completely worthless at this point. There’s simply not enough info. My opinion is to go when it works even if it’s spring break and expect to not be able to do everything. With no FP, it’s easier to just roll with the punches.

My daughter's Spring Break week varies. We've gone to WDW and it was very, very crowded. Long lines for everything. No getting extra FP when you used yours up. No getting a table service meal without an ADR. I second Spring Break crowds only to Christmas/NYE. Schools have different Spring Breaks, all leading up to Easter (which is April 4) which is early this year. The closer to Easter, the worse it is. This was all before Covid so things are different now. I'd still would expect long lines even with limited capacity because there are no FP and not all restaurants are open.

Early October this year is probably projected to be higher due to the 50th. But I don't think anyone can reasonably predict anything right now. Too many moving parts: Do districts still require quarantine after travel? State rules regarding travel. Work rules regarding travel. People feeling comfortable when they booked but then look around and go, nope, not going.
