Crowds Dec 15 - 20

What do you think the crowds will be like Dec 15-20? That is the Thur-Tue before Christmas. Would crowds be thin enough to enjoy the parks without FOTL? I could get RPR for $159 for those dates, but I could get the Holiday Inn for $79. Right now we are scheduled to go in August, but those rates are $224/night at RPR. I'm trying to find a way to go cheaper. Any suggestions?

The parks aren't that crowed until around the 20th... the 15th-18th should be pretty empty.... compared to the other days.

I agree. It usually isn't crowded at that time.
