Crowds BEFORE Christmas Eve/Day

Sorry if this has already been asked, I took a quick look and didn't see it.

Hollywood Studios on Monday Dec 22. Will it be nuts???
This is our first trip this close to Christmas and we're considering DHS that day. We actually had some friends going with us but she is a teacher, thought she could get M and T off, but couldn't. Now i'm wondering (hoping) that this may affect crowds these two days.

Any thoughts??

We went 12/16 - 12/22 about 2-3 years ago. When we left on 12/22, things were really starting to pick up. There were a lot of people in the lobby when we were leaving, and the magical express driver said he had a busy day ahead of him.

I don't know "officially" when things pick up, but I'm sure it has to do with when the holiday falls. That year I'm referring to, 12/22 was a Friday. I'm sure families had the weekend, and Friday/Monday or Monday/Tuesday off from work.

Christmas is a beautiful time. I can't wait to go down again sometime soon!
