We were just there on the 10th (a Saturday). They were saying that it was going to Thunderstorm, which kept the crowds away. DCA was dead. We went on most of the rides about five or six times. The best ride there is the Soarin' over California ride (a great ride, typical of disney) and they have a couple of good coasters and "loose your lunch" rides. I'd be curious to hear what you think about the ride in the hollywood section. It was the only ride in the new park that really blew chunks (it was a very stupid ride).
I just came back Thursday from California - and there were no lines whatsoever at either Disneyland park or DCA. I was there over the Grand Opening weekend and through part of last week...but in my case I think that had to do with all the rain, plus all the media hype over the new park -- everyone was scared away from stepping into the Disneyland Resort at all for a few days.
But, it was great hitting "California Screamin'" 3x in a row!
We were at Dl and DCA last week Tues-Sat. It was not crowded at all. Only Fri night and Sat were crowded but it was the long weekend. We walked onto all the major attractions. Sat. though had over 60 minute waits for the major attractions.

Geez dbugged, sounds like you spent most of the time in DCA's wonderful restroom facilities rather than the park with all the "chunk blowing" and "loosing your lunch" heheh. Not that I don't agree with you on several of your opinions, especially about Soarin', I just didn't want everyone on the board thinking that a trip to DCA inevitably includes a trip to the porcelain throne....
Also curious as to what the crowds were like over the holiday weekend. I was actually at Disneyland on Saturday but couldn't get in due to my Deluxe Annual Pass being subject to a black out day. Couldn't tell how crowded DCA was and I think a lot of the execs might have been using the holiday as some last hope to get some high attendence numbers. Anyone know?
