Crowds and Weather in May?

We are going to Disney World in the middle of May. Any experiences with crowds and weather for this time of year? I think school will still be in session. Thanks for any experiences.

the earlier in May the better. our schools get out on the 22nd here. weather should be mid to high 80's with a chance of rain mid-afternoon. the weekdays will be good, the crowds build friday into the weekend. it's a good time to visit.

Early to Mid May has always been my favorite time of the year for WDW. Crowds are minimal and the weather has always been great. Hot, but not too hot like in the summer months. Enjoy !
