Crowds and Weather in January

We just found out today that we may be taking our next trip to WDW in early Jan. My BIL and his family are coming in from Australia and they are taking their first trip to WDW and would like us to come with them.

We would be there Jan. 5th - Jan 12th. How is the weather? Is it warm enough to swim? How are the crowds?

We have gone in January for years now, and love it. Swimming is very iffy, unless the water is heated. We went to Typhoon Lagoon several years, and the water was always nice, but we froze out in the air! The temperatures can be extremely variable, with lows near freezing, and highs varying from 40 to 80 degrees. There is no way to predict from day to day, let alone from year to year. The best part is that the crowds are extremely small, and you will have very little waiting times.

I agree with Ernie, very unpredictable.....be ready for everything. The crowds are very light. Our favorite time to go as well!
