Crowds and Bugs in MAY

Hello All,

I am reaching out to the experts on this one! We usually travel to disney in September but want to try the first week in MAY! Two concerns are CROWDS and LOVE BUGS? Help me out please!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!

I can't help with the bugs either, but we are going the first week of May 08, and have heard that the crowds are light, and weather is nice and hot, but not unbearable!!! Sounds good to me

We will always go at this time because of the light crowds,great weather, and there were no bug issues of any kind when we went. IMHO May is the perfect time to go

We went in early May in 2004 and are headed again the first week in May this year. We didn't experience any problems with bugs and the crowds were very managable. The weather is so nice in May, not too too hot, but great swimming and water park weather!!!

We go every May for a 9 day trip....crowds are great & the ONLY TIME we've ever seen love bugs was at the main pool at CBR last May.

We have been to the world in may 3 times now and up until the last six months i've never heard of the love bug (except herby) Anyway I think your safe. I hope so anyway as we will be there at the beginning of may this year to. Crouds are not bad at all. Busy but not packed.

I have been there the first week of May every year since 2003 and have yet to notice a problem with lovebugs during that week, or crowds for that matter.

Now last year when we went in September, that was a whole different story.

I know when we were @ WDW last October there were tons of them!!!
Did not notice any in May 03.

It does say they do come out in may a bit then big time in sept oct. As I said before we have been to disney in may a few times before with no problems Lets hope it is the same this year.

I don't deal well with bugs and we're going at the beginning of May. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that FL has plenty of rain in April to diminish their numbers.

AGREE!!

I remember some love bugs, but not enough o be a bother. Weather was "perfection" when we went, hense we're returning in May!

Not many crowds---only used fast pass in a week for Pater Pan!!!
