crowds after New Years

We are planning a trip to Disneyland this year after New Years Day. I know the crowds between Christmas and New Years are high, but does it slow down at all after New Years?

It didn't slow down too much this year because many schools were still out.

No, not really. We were there til the 3rd this year and it was packed even then. Since schools are out til the 7th, I wouldn't expect it to lighten up til then.

It was nuts this year because NY day was a Sunday so TONS of people had Monday the 1st off AND it was unblocked. So it was crazy packed. I don't think it calmed down until the 7th or 8th.
