Just wondering if the 1st week of November will be less busy, since the HHN crowds will be done and the next 'group" of tourists will be visiting Thanksgiving week ? (or is EVERYONE thinking this, and going early)?!;) By the way, this is a PERFECT example of me over thinking things too much ! :rotfl2:

I go the first week of November every year, and its usually not too bad.

It also happens to be Jersey week (the schools there are closed for election day as well as some parent teacher conferences). It seems like half the state goes to Disney that week.

It's usually not crazy - but it can be busier than you would expect.
Disney seem much busier this year than the last few though - there are no room available except at the moderates.
I assume this means the Universal will also be busier than the last few years.

I'm sad to hear this because I was taking my family for a quick trip to Universal for a couple od day Nov 1-4 thinking it wasn't going to be busy. Is there anything going on the second week in Nov ?

That's Veteran's day on Tuesday the 11th - can't say what affect that would have

In the past Jersey week has not made Universal crazy busy - just busier that you would expect the first week of November.

Thanks for the reply it looks like the teachers in Jersey have a big convention on Nov 6 and 7th which is a Thursday and Friday. I'm trying to do the parks on the Sunday and Monday prior.

WHERE is this teachers convention and I know if I were a teacher... I would be trying to "hit the parks", AFTER the convention. ::yes:: So..... i just wonder if this will bring in more people for the "long weekend" ,when the convention is over? Hmmm.....:confused3

It's in Jersey!

Oh DUH! :lmao: I just thought since people were talking about it being "Jersey Week" .. that meant besides all the 'kids" coming down... so would the teachers, since Orlando has PLENTY of convention hotels.
