crowds after 10:30 PM?

well I don't know where ridemax gets it's info but like I have said more than once in this thread, we do FL regularly at night, PP is not a 15 min. wait. We do it last a lot because we like to see the "regular" that has to be the last rider on PP, we like to see if she's still coming that late at night and riding. It's kind of a challenge to our family, so even if we aren't riding PP last we still like to walk by and see if she's there. :) Believe me, if the sign said 20 min or less we'd wait for sure.

I have heard about her....we might have to walk by there on our way out when we are there next Friday and check it out! :)

It's very possible that it is often more than a 15-min wait after 11:30pm... I can only speak to what it's been when we've gone. To be fair, we live within driving distance so we go about 4 times per year and these trips are sometimes during the week and usually not in the summer (though still often during peak times like Spring Break). I'm sure that plays a role in Peter Pan's line being a little shorter. We try to plan our trips for times when it might be less busy but still be open till midnight because we love DL at night.

My girls call her the crazy hair lady, her hair is well....crazy. lol You'll know if you see her, she usually has a man with her, he is very skinny and tall. They seem to be nice unless you try to get in line behind them, their usual strategy is to talk to the CM until they close the line and then get in, the CMs seem happy to see them and they exchange hugs etc. I'm sure they are very nice people, we just think it's an odd quirk/obsession to have. :) Of course if I knew her name we would call her by name instead, because name calling is rude and not very Disney. :)

Ummm, we have APs and if you check my signature you'll see go on average once a month. We've done 6 trips so far this year and we have not yet gone in June. Not sure if we will actually, we may actually skip a month! lol We went 14 times last year. Now, most of our trips are weekends, or extended weekends so we do have bigger crowds but when we go for bday trips they are longer visits, for instance went in Jan. for DBFs bday we still saw waits up to 45 min for Peter Pan, and we were there during the week that trip so it would stand to reason lines would be shorter. Of course the parks closed earlier (8pm) so that probably had something to do with that. We will have disagree on this issue because I have never seen Peter Pan with a wait time under 30 min, no matter the time of day. And when we do FL we usually do it after 11, so we head over around 11 and start doing rides, we check Peter Pan multiple times for the wait, we also don't go by just the sign, we also go by the length of the line.

I will look for crazy hair and will not dare try and get in line behind them!

Most people seem to love to stay late. If you want to get on rides fast it's best to get their when the park opens. Dumbo, Nemo and Peter Pan are the rides you really want to get on super early.

My experience has been that Disney land has short lines for New Orleans Square, and Critter Country attractions during and after Fantasmic. I've walked on to Splash in less than 10 minutes after 10pm in the past (a few years ago). Tomorrow land attractions usually have long lines until closing. The evening parades, fireworks and Fantasmic jam Tomorrowland and Adventureland with visitiors because they close Fantasyland, and really congest Frontierland. The back corner where Splash is, tends to be the best place to be during the nightime festivities because it is hard for people to get back there, so if you get to New Orleans Square before Fantasmic starts, you can pretty much walk on Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Splash and Pooh while Fantasmic is playing. If you don't want to do new orleans square, Critter Country, or watch any of the evening shows, you might as well just leave the park before main street becomes packed with parade viewers. Ir is nearly impossible to navigate Main Street during the evening hours. If you can get to Tomorrow land, the rides operate, but they have long lines. The railroad can be a godsend during these times. It kind of sucks if you're not that into the parades. I think their okay, but I'm not willing to give up 2 hours of ride time to get a good viewing spot, and the parades shut down so much of the park that it just runis it form people not interested in watching them.
