Crowds 2/27 - 3/3?

Hola!

It's time for our annual IRS refund vacation! And after dealing with Rita very up close and personal, I can say we really need it!

I've perused the boards, and I'm hoping we may fall in the crack between President's day and the beginning of Spring Break. Can anyone tell me what the crowds (mainly MK) would be like during our stay?

You'll want to avoid the whole week of President's Day - Many schools use that as Feb. Recess. After that week tho, before Spring Breaks start, you'll have 2 weeks of lovely Park time. I've been 2x in early Feb (before President's Week) and it was blissfully quiet. The weather was good for the most part with a couple cool nights.
If Expedition Everest is open then, it's a time I'm looking at for a quick trip down.

Hi Jerry!!! As a fellow Rita and Katrina survivor I TOTALLY agree wit you that we all nedd a vacation LOL!!! We are going (and have gone twice in the past 3 years) during what was our Mardi Gras vacation. Crowds weren't bad in 03, but we found the parks more congested when we went back in 04. I know in 04 we were there the last week in February - our last day in the parks was on the 28th to be exact. I guess it's hit or miss - depending on when others have spring break and also just how many of us from Louisiana are going to take the time off during Mardi Gras. Also, I'm not sure when the cheerleaders will be there. They started arriving during the last 2 days of our stay in 03 - but most were really polite and not much of a problem as far as crowds go.
