Crowds 11/3/06-11/11/06(Rooms-Not Much Left)

I have been trying to upagrade to a monarail resort for this week, each time I call they are telling me everything is sold out for this week and that there isn't much available else where either. I know it is Jersey week and super soap weekend that next weekend, but this seems unusual for Nov have been in July and August and never had this much of a problem finding available rooms. Should I be worried about this affecting crowd levels for this week and if it is that busy, is there a chance that Disney will extend the park hours?? Anyone who has been this week any information would be helpful.

I'll be there the exact same days you are. My theory is they are specifically holding rooms on the monorail due to soap weekend, because I'm sure there's hordes of 50-something empty nesters waiting to decend on the resorts for a glimpse of their favorite stars and possibly room next to them. I tried getting a few CM's to talk and asked about why the only availability seemed to be AKL and all they would say was "yes, odd for slow time, isn't it?"

there is a eye doctor convention at comtempary from 11/2/6 to 11/6/6 so i know this is sure to be the reason for no rooms there
