Crowded September??

We're leaving in 4 days :Pinkbounc and I hope the crowds are leaving the day we arrive.

I'm used to going in November at the tail end of Jersey week, right at supersoaps weekend and Veterans day to boot. That weekend is busy and when you check Disney.com for rooms most of the hotels come up completely booked. Have checked just a couple of days ago and there's availability at all the hotels I checked and for every view and concierge.

So if that's any guide, it will be low crowds and aside from questionable weather, a great time to go!

If history is any guide September is a VERY good month to go concerning crowds. We usually try to pack a lot of trips to WDW in during September and then again in mid Jan to mid Feb. The downside to September is the weather is still summer down here. Just as hot as July or August. But the crowds on the other hand are much much much better than the summber crowds. In fact we are taking a drive over there tomorrow.

I'm hoping for a dry September!!!!!!! We've been lucky. We only had one rainy day 4 years ago. We've had enough rain this summer in the north east so let's hope the Disney Weather Fairies are are good to us!

So it's still really hot in Sept? We usually go early November and it's perfect weather and light (if any) crowds). Chose Sept this time for the FT package. Oh, well, if it's really hot, we'll spend a lot of time by the pool. That's what my DH wants to do either way.

Of course, if they are Me, they will reply anyway...just to see their countdown clock!
We are going 9/14-9/19. Had no trouble getting any PS (only one needed to be 10 min. earlier that we wanted. boo hoo). And that includes one PS I made today.
And about a week and a half ago, we decided to switch the last night of our stay from BWV to BCV, just to try SAB. Again, no problem. Made this naive dreamer think "Hmm--must be pretty slow there in September."
Good luck (and lots of that pixie dust stuff) to us all!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

NYDisneyMom we are from NY originally and my brother is a NYC EMT so we had to get home immediately. Thank God he had off that day but the days following were just as nail biting for us. We had flown down there but drove home and have not been on a plane since, never was a good flyer. I agree not letting those SOB's get us down. I probably would have gone on my trip as well. Good for you!

I think Sept will fine for you. I just can't handle the heat so we are going during the winter from this point on!

Have a great trip!:bounce:
