I am going to WDW Sept 26-Oct 3 and Sept. 28 is Yom Kippur. The schools around me have off those days, but I checked the school calendar for Orlando and it does not. Do you think it will be crowded the week I am there since people could take off that week since schools could be out? Or do you think since it's Sept and school just started we are safe? Touring plans has it at 4 & 6s, but I wanted to see if anybody had been there during Yom Kippur or Rosh Hashanah and if it was busy. Sept. 28 is my birthday and we will be going to MK and I don't want it to be too crowded.

We went that time last year and none of the parks were really crowded during the week :thumbsup2 Most rides we could just walk on and the really popular ones had waits of about 45 to an hour at the most. We ended up having extra time to just relax and stroll through the parks because we were expecting to have to wait much longer in the ride lines :cloud9:

when I booked this trip, it was listed as one of the least crowded weeks, but I was unaware of the holidays, will that make a big impact?

I been going last week of Sept for the last four years, here's my observations:

The crowds for this week depends on usually one thing the locals. Weekends at parks are crowded and settle down throughout the week. The biggest case is F&W the weekend it starts like the Saturday we get there is nuts. As for the MK on the 28th, No spectromagic, no EMH, the day before MNSSHP, so for that week, monday should one of the least crowded days. The Jewish holiday has very little impact on the crowds, now if the local schools have Fall break that week look out.
