hi all!! getting ready to go and just spoke to my brother-in-law who is a florida resident. he said the kids down there go back to school the week of Aug. 9th.... ....i think this is a good thing when we're talking about crowds.....

WOW! that is pretty early, but then again, they do get out the Thursday before Memorial Day.
I'll be there from 8/28-9/4, so I hope you're right.

Wisconsin, Our fine government officials past a law that no school in Wisconsin can start until September 1.

Do you know why they did this, cause they need students to keep working for the tourist season.

This is such a joke, the Milwaukee Journal found out that our tourist towns don't even hire local kids, they pay foreigners to work, so they can pay even less to these poor kids. They get away with it, cause it is call "Seasonal Help".

Our kids will be in school till the end of June, yuk!

Orlando schools do start on August 9th. I hope that will help because the parks are pretty busy. We actually went to Universal Studios today and the wait to get on most of the rides without an express pass was 90 to 120 minutes. We just walked around, ate and left. No way I wanted to wait that long. There were many groups of 20 to 30 teenagers in the park.
