The WDW web site still shows rooms available for most resorts. I know that this week falls the week before Jersey week. I have seen some others here going at that time as well. What do you think the crowds will be like that week?

My family and i will be there...we were in DW last year at this time also and it wasn't very crowded-never had to wait long for anything. Magic Kingdom was busy on the next Saturday after Thanksgiving weekend because they were filming the Christmas Parade for TV. We just took the Train over to Frontierland and rode the rides-no lines at all-just mobs of people in the streets. Its a great time to visit DisneyWorld!

Hey! We'll be there, too. :paw:
It shouldn't be crowded--October rarely is. And even if it's a little crowded--that only means waiting about 30 minutes for a ride! Even the weekend after Thanksgiving last year--crowded, but still didn't wait long for rides. NOTHING like summer, which I've done pre-kids, but never again!

We will be there too but since this is our first time going in October I don't know what to expect as far as crowds go. I am hoping crowds are manageable.
