Made plans for the two weeks before Thanksgiving 2015. Anyone been there at that time ??? How was the weather, crowds, etc. ???

This year, I found the week before Thanksgiving to be SUPER busy. Two weeks before it was quieter, although I would not consider it a slow period.

The temps are hard to predict. We can go from wearing sundresses one day to jeans and sweatshirts the next! For temps, I suggest looking only 2 days in advance of your trip to see what to pack. I'd also suggest layers that can be removed easily and thrown into a backpack if cooler temps are expected.

We went this past November 11-17. I was disappointed by the crowds. A couple of our days were very pleasant crowd-wise (Epcot one day, MK one day), but the others were much more crowded than they were two years before. I still loved it and would go back again, mostly because November and December are amazing, but don't expect many or any walk-ons. We had two level 3-4 days, and one level 7 day, which was a zoo.

That said, we have lucked out with WDW weather at that time of year. We had a string of days that were between 72 and 84, sunny, perfect for an afternoon swim, and nice and cool in the evenings and mornings. Only one day of rain, and it did pour that day, but generally, that's the dry season, and not humid at all. I can't be in heat above 88 degrees without feeling faint, so I would say November or early December is perfect weather-wise. Plus, if you go after November 7th (or so), you can see the Osborne Light show, which is amazing and truly magical to behold.

If I had to do it again, I would go immediately following Thanksgiving, but it would mean slimmer chances of swimming, which our boys love.

We were there immediately following Thanksgiving 2013 and the place was very busy with large crowds. With all the crowd predictors from Easywdw and Touring plans projecting lower crowds I have to admit I was rather surprised. However, we did manage some very nice weather and were able to enjoy the pool during the day a couple of times. With that said, I would go back at the same time in a heartbeat.:)

I was there 11/8-11/15 this year. Crowds were heavy, but manageable. Wouldn't say they were moderate crowds until late in the week. Veterans day was packed, imho.

Weather was lovely during the day. Mid 70's or so. Got chilly in the evening. had to have sweatshirts with us. Even ordered a hot chocolate during illuminations to warm me up.
